Blind Shipment

Blind Shipment

Blind shipping is an additional freight service that typically incurs extra charges for maintaining the confidentiality of the shipment details. In blind shipping, either the shipper is unaware of the identity of the consignee, or the consignee is unaware of the identity of the shipper. Additionally, most blind shipments require pre-payment as a standard procedure.

This practice is commonly used to maintain confidentiality when a product is being shipped from a third-party vendor.
