Consignee

Consignee

A consignee is the individual, company, or entity to whom goods are shipped or delivered. In the context of shipping or logistics, the consignee is the designated recipient of a shipment, responsible for receiving and accepting the goods upon their arrival at the designated destination.
The consignee may be the buyer or recipient specified by the sender (consignor) in a sales transaction, and they are typically the party legally obligated to take possession of the goods and pay any associated fees or charges, such as customs duties or delivery fees.
