How to connect your Canada Post account to your Deftship
Through integration, you gain effortless access to the best deals and discounts offered by your Canada Post account directly on your Deftship account. This smooth connection streamlines the process, providing a convenient and efficient means to seize savings opportunities and make well-informed shipping choices.
Steps to connect your Canada Post account to your Deftship
2. On the left sidebar, scroll down to Integrations.
4. Click on Canada Post.
5. Put in your Canada Post Alias.
6. Click on Save.
7. It will direct you to Canada Post. You will need to login first to access your account.
8. You will be directed to the page where you need to set the payment method. Set the Company and Contract, then, choose payment method and click on Continue.
Note: if you are not using an account with contract (for example, pay by credit card), you cannot void shipment on Deftship.
9. As you continue, it will direct you to Authorization page. You can review the Terms and Conditions.
Click on Submit if you agree. Otherwise, click on "I do Not Agree" .
Note: Once successful, it will show you a message back to Deftship saying, "App Settings updated successfully."
What is Canada Post Alias?
The Canada Post Alias serves as an identifier you create within Deftship to distinguish your Canada Post Account. This feature proves handy when managing multiple Canada Post Accounts. By associating the designated alias with your Canada Post account in Deftship, you gain the ability to seamlessly integrate and view the rates provided by Canada Post.
Keep in mind: The account shipper alias needs to be unique as it serves as an identifier for your Canada Post accounts.
