How to connect your DHL account to your Deftship

You can now see the best deals and discounts from your DHL account to your Deftship account by integration.

Steps to connect your DHL account to your Deftship

1. Log in to your Deftship account.

2. On the left sidebar, scroll down to Integrations.

3. Click on Carrier.


4. Click on DHL.

5. Fill in the details:
  • Alias - Nickname for your account
  • App Key - API Key authentication
  • App Secret - API code authentication
  • Account Number - DHL account number

6. Click on the Save button.

Locating your DHL Express Site ID and Password:


Your DHL Express site ID and password are different than your normal login information on the DHL Express website.

To obtain your DHL Express site ID and password you will need to register in the DHL XML Developer Portal. You can also contact your DHL Account Manager for help with this.

Once registered in the DHL Developer Portal, your site ID and password will be emailed to you, and you can enter that information into Deftship to start shipping.

Note:

If you're already registered on the DHL XML Portal, you should have received an email with the site ID and password information when you registered. If you're not able to locate this email please contact your DHL Account Manager.


Using the API

You must have an eligible tracking code for the shipment and an API subscription key (this key needs to be either passed through a query string parameter or specified in the request header).
