How to Enable the Two Factor Authentication

What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security when signing in to your DeftShip account. In addition to your password, you’ll be required to verify your identity using a second factor, such as a code sent to your mobile device or email.

Benefits of 2FA:

🔒 Enhanced Account Security: Even if someone learns your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the second verification step.

We highly encourage you to enable Two-Factor Authentication in your account settings to take full advantage of this new security feature. You can see the steps below to enable the 2FA.

How to Enable the Two Factor Authentication

1. Login to your Deftship Account

2. Click the options next to your name > Click on Settings

3. Toggle on to enable the Two Factor Authentication.

4. You will need to enter your password. Then, click on Next.

5. Enter the Confirmation Code from your Authenticator app. Click on Next.

NOTE: For Authenticator app, we highly recommend using Google Authenticator app and link your Deftship.
