How to generate a Shipment Receipt from Deftship

You can now generate receipts from the Deftship system that would show the order number, shipment date, and total cost. You can also users can customize the style of the receipt in Advanced Styling. 

With this receipt, you can send it to your customers and they will find the transaction more reliable because these are records they can keep.

Here are the steps for generating a Shipment Receipt:

1. Log in to your Deftship account.

2. Click on Shipments from the left taskbar.

3. Select the order you wish to generate a receipt with. You can select multiple orders to generate a receipt at the same time. 

Note: Generating one receipt for multiple orders doesn't mean it merges orders. We are just saving time to generate them in one go. They are still individual receipts for the intended order.

4. On the upper-right-hand corner, click on the drop-down option then, click on Receipt.

5. Click on Get Receipt.

6. It will show the preview of the receipt as an example below:

7. Click on the Print Receipt to print the copy.

How to Customize the Receipt?

1. Under Organizations, click on Preferences > Labels & Receipt.

2. You can customize the Header and Footer or go to Advance Styling to set font settings etc.

3. All options are ticked by default except for Subtotal. 

NOTE: You can set the Profit Margin. Just tick on Subtotal and put your desired profit.

4. Lastly, click on the Submit button.

Here's the sample Receipt with the set Profit for Subtotal:

Your customers will see the Subtotal amount which is amount + profit margin. See the example below:
