How to Hold an open order

You can now place the open order on hold to prevent some shipping issues such as cancellation due to inability to ship immediately. You can set the open order on hold and set the date when it will be on hold until you are ready to ship the goods. The system could already set the status back to normal after the date you set.

How to set the open order to hold

1. Login to your Deftship account.

2. Go to Open Orders

3. You can find an arrow down on the top right side. Click on the arrow-down and find 'MARK AS HOLD'. 

4. Then, select the Hold until Date

NOTE: Order(s) will be placed on hold until the selected date. We will reinstate the order(s) to the Open Order List on the selected date

Once you set the date when will be hold until, there will be a confirmation like below:

You can always modify the date and change the status manually. 

How to view your on Hold open orders

Note: By default, open orders tab would show you all open orders. Hence, to view your open orders you placed to hold, you must follow the steps below.

1.  On the the open orders page, find the Hold button to view all orders on hold. It has a number next to it that tell how many orders are on hold.

2. Click on Hold button to view and it will show you all you orders on hold.

How to view your normal open orders

You will just need to re-click on the open orders button as below.
