How to integrate Your Shopify store with Deftship
You may already have an existing Shopify store that you use in managing product inventory and processing fulfillment which is the heart of your business operation. You can take advantage of the integration of our Deftship app into your Shopify store to enable automatic fulfillment.
The key feature of our Shopify integration is that you are free to add as many stores as you want with Deftship to enable you with an efficient way of managing order fulfillment.
We will show you how to connect your Shopify store with Deftship and the settings to configure.
Connecting a Shopify Store
1. Log in to your Deftship account.
2. On the left sidebar, look for Integrations at the bottom and find Store. Then, click on Connect New Store.
3. Click on Shopify.
4. Click on the Connect Shopify button.
5. Add Deftship App and login to your Shopify Store.
Create a Shipping Label
When you create a shipping label for your Shopify order using Deftship, we can send the tracking number and fulfillment update over to your Shopify automatically. You'll need to first enable the Shopify sync and fulfillment settings on the Settings Page (Stores) in Deftship.

Sync Tracking Numbers on Shopify
Checking the box to Sync tracking numbers on Shopify will allow the tracking number to sync back to Shopify when you purchase the label for the order in Deftship. This will also automatically mark all items in the Shopify order as fulfilled in Shopify. The exception is if you've used partial order fulfillment — Partial order fulfillment for Shopify.
Send Shopify notification to the customer
Checking the box to Send a notification to the customer via Shopify will trigger your Shopify email template to be sent from Shopify to your customer when the order is marked fulfilled in Shopify. This happens only if you have the Fulfill Order on Shopify checkbox marked as well. If you prefer to send the Deftship email notification, uncheck this box and set up the Deftship email notification.
Include POS orders from Shopify
Deftship, by default, will exclude POS orders from Shopify when orders are imported. If you prefer to have your Shopify POS orders imported to Deftship, you can check this box. This will allow all POS orders to always import along with your other orders.
Click the Save button when you are finished configuring your settings.

How to enable Rate at Checkout through your Shopify?
The Rate at Check out will be added to your Shopify store as soon as you integrate it with Deftship. You just need to set it up on your store settings.
1. On your Shopify account. Go to Settings.
2. On Enable third-party calculated rates at checkout in Shopify. Connect Deftship on your Shopify to get the competitive rates.
3. Click on Shipping and delivery.
4. Set the Shipping Origins : Domestic and International to Deftship (Rates provided by App)
4. Select "Use carrier or app to calculate rates" and from the drop-down menu, select the delivery service to which you want to add calculated rates. In the Services section, select the service shipping method you want to offer your customers at checkout.
5. In the Handling fee section, add any handling fees you would like to add to the calculated shipping cost. If not, you can leave it blank.
6. Click Done and then click Save.
Why do Shopify orders not synced?
In cases where the Shopify orders are not synced, it could be that the location was not set yet. You must check the settings on your Shopify account and make sure that you set the Locations. If it was not updated yet, you can directly click on Add Location and put in the complete details.

The Shopify Buy with Prime (BWP) Order Synchronization feature automatically syncs BWP orders from the Shopify store into our system. This enables users to manage and process all orders in one place, eliminating the need for manual imports or re-entry, which improves efficiency and reduces errors. You can now synchronize orders with BwP on Deftship.

How to enable Buy with Prime (BwP) on Deftship?
1. From your connected Shopify stores, choose the store account you wish to enable the BwP or Buy with Prime on.
2. Tick on BwP box which corresponds to the store.
NOTE: When Buy with Prime (BwP) is ticked/enabled, orders received from Shopify will be automatically marked as shipped. If not checked, the orders will be processed as normal.
