How to Ship with APC Postal Logistics

The APC Postal Logistics is now available on Deftship, giving you even more flexibility for your shipping needs.

Whether you prefer to ship using your Deftship account or connect and use your own APC Postal Logistics account, Deftship makes it easy to create shipments and manage your orders from one convenient platform.

Please review the guidelines below to learn how to get started and ensure your shipments are processed smoothly.

Important: APC Does Not Offer Pickup Services

Please note that APC Postal Logistics does not provide pickup services from your shipping address.

When shipping with APC through Deftship, you are responsible for delivering your parcels to the designated APC processing facility. To avoid delays, we recommend dropping off your package at the facility as soon as possible after creating your shipment.

Once your package arrives at the APC processing center, APC will verify and process it for delivery to its final destination.

APC Shipping Guidelines

1. Shipments with a Total Weight Under 250 lbs

For international shipments with a total weight under 250 lbs, APC uses FedEx Ground to transport your parcels to the APC Processing Center in California.

Important Notes

  • Shipments with a total weight under 10 lbs are subject to a minimum pickup fee of $20.00.
  • To avoid processing delays, please dispatch your package to the APC Processing Center as soon as possible after creating your shipment.

2. Shipments with a Total Weight Over 250 lbs

For shipments with a total weight exceeding 250 lbs, the shipment must be handled as Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight.

Guidelines

  1. Contact APC Postal Logistics to arrange an LTL carrier pickup.
  2. Once an APC LTL quote has been obtained, you can select the APC LTL service in Deftship. Your shipment will then follow the freight shipping workflow.
  3. After the pickup has been scheduled, APC will provide the Bill of Lading (BOL) and shipping labels. These documents will be updated in your Deftship order details once they are received.
  4. For same-day pickups, pickup requests must:
    • Be scheduled at least 3 hours in advance.
    • Be submitted before 2:00 PM local time.

Note: Shipments exceeding 250 lbs cannot be processed as standard parcel shipments and must be shipped via APC LTL.
