Pallet space

Pallet space

A pallet space is a representation of one standard pallet in terms of spatial allocation. However, for our pricing calculations, we also factor in the total weight capacity of the truck and divide it by the available pallet spaces without double stacking.

Here's the breakdown of how many standard pallet spaces are typically available on each type of truck:

  1. Sprinter or Transit Van: Typically 2-3 pallets with an average total weight of 4,000 lbs.
  2. 26 Foot Truck: Typically 12 pallets with an average weight of up to 830 lbs each.
  3. 53 Foot Truck: Typically 28 pallets with an average weight of up to 1570 lbs each.
